What does it mean to be "psychic?"Psychic intuition is often referred to as the sixth sense. It’s not mysterious, nor is it dramatic. Everyone is psychic to some degree. Not all of us want or choose to tune into our intuition but often we receive little intuitive thoughts from time to time. For example, when we accurately know who is calling before we pick up the phone.
Intuition is a very subtle sense that is easily overlooked. Many times we "know things" without knowing how we know them. We often believe intuitions about other people by the reactions we have to them. People often judge another’s mood by looking at their non-verbal signals. Sometimes these interpretations are accurate but many times they are not. Often the information people perceive from their sight is filtered by their own moods, beliefs and attitudes, causing these interpretations to be distorted.
As a person who happens to be blind, I am unencumbered by the visual process. That is to say I don’t have to tune-out my visual sense to connect with my intuitive sense. I m able to tune in automatically because I "see" with my intuition. I have been reading energy around people places and things all my life. For much of that time, I didn’t realize that was what I was doing. I took it for granted that everyone did this.
As I became an adult, I soon realized this was not so. Understanding that I was "different" was a struggle for me at first. Eventually I chose to work with my gift to understand it better and explore it fully.
It is a great joy to offer my gift as a healing tool for others.
What can you expect from a reading?People come to me for readings for a variety of reasons; sometimes it is because their life is in transition with work or relationships, a crisis of some kind has occurred and they wish to have guidance from a higher source, or they may wish to just check in with a higher source to see if they are on the right pathway. Most of the time, insights are gained and clients will realize that they actually knew some of the information, but were not trusting their own intuitive nature.
For those who come to a reading seeking specific answers to their questions, you may find that you leave with homework. The spirits often give us more work to do on our life path, as we are here to grow and learn. When people ask for me to predict specific times and dates for events in their future, they are sometimes disappointed. Psychics read energy, which is constantly in motion and because we all have free will to make choices, any predictions about time can only be made in probabilities.
What are your psychic services?There are several options within my range of psychic services. You can choose to have a reading with me in which I will tune into your aura to read your energy and connect with your higher self. It is helpful to have specific questions or topics you wish to have addressed and you should bring a notebook or cassette recorder to record the session.
An alternative to the reading is for me to channel for you. Channeling is a process by which a higher being from the spirit realm speaks through me to address your questions and concerns. The entity I channel is known as Mother Earth, and she is a delightfully gentle and wise spirit. She is the spirit of our living planet. She wishes to work with anyone who is seeking growth and healing, because in healing ourselves we heal the planet. You can ask her about your own issues or issues that are of a global nature.
Healing past life issues is another option that can bring resolution to present life issues. There are times when we feel that we have worked very hard to resolve a pattern of behavior in this life but just can’t quite "get over it." It is possible that there is an echo from a past life experience that needs to be explored and healed. I guide this process of regressing back to whatever that lifetime is so that it can be examined in a careful and painless way. With the information we gain from those experiences, I guide the client to seek out the lessons from their higher self. Depending upon this information, other tools may be used to enhance the healing.
Energy cleansing is a technique used to clear a person’s aura, living space or place of work. I perceive energy in a home or office by visiting and walking around the property. Guiding a client to determine what they would like their energy to be, I am able to clear out stuck or negative energy, thus enabling positive energy to flow freely within the space or aura.
In some cases a cleansing may include releasing an undesirable discarnate entity, AKA ghosts. Ghosts are merely pieces of souls that have not gone on to the Light. They are very much like animals that have been caught in traps and do not know how to get out. When a living space appears to be haunted, it is because one of these entities is trapped and doesn’t realize that it can go to the Light. I am able to help facilitate the releasing of these entities and heal the home so that clear positive energy can flow.
Do you help others connect with there psychic intuition?Becoming aware of the intuitive part of your nature is a powerful healing tool. Learning how to access your own inner wisdom allows you a deeper sense of spiritual connection. This doesn’t mean someone becomes a professional psychic overnight. I work with you to help open the intuition and use it in a healing way. I offer techniques to identify and use your intuition in personal growth work.
I also work with children who display sensitivity or psychic abilities, and their parents. Children are very sensitive and intuitive and with some simple tools they can learn to use their abilities in healthy ways. Teaching children to utilize their intuition will help calm fears and anxieties, assist with self-discovery, focus their attention, help them maintain their creativity and imagination, and foster spiritual development. This work is done in conjunction with parents to help parents understand their child’s abilities and how to encourage them to develop these tools.
